Preparing for your Session
Awesome, you've paid for and booked your reading and/or session successfully.
Imagery Work is Energy Work. It is important to prepare accordingly. Here are some tips for preparing for a successful session.
- Pay attention to your email and/or text reminders so you don't miss our scheduled time! The email will provide reschedule and cancel links if necessary!
- Find a nice quiet and comfortable place for our Zoom call or phone call, where you can be comfortable seated or reclined. It is advisable to avoid interruptions, although we can work through them. It may affect what you get out of our scheduled session, however. Silence your phone/computer notifications to avoid interruptions from other apps.
- Have an eye mask or eye covering available if desired. You might also like a light blanket at hand. We will be doing relaxation exercises in some sessions and it is important to be warm and comfortable.
- Use the bathroom before our appointment. If we are in the middle of imagery work, you want to avoid getting up to go...
- Have water available. This might seem counterintuitive since I just advised you to use the bathroom. But you might need a bit of refreshing liquid. It is also advisable to drink plenty of water following our session to move moved energies out of your body.
- Avoid chemical stimulants or relaxants as much as possible before the session. A clear mind going into the session is preferable.
